I’ve worked as a Marketing Consultant with Optima Health for the past 12 years. I develop and execute strategic marketing plans for health plan products. It has been exciting to see how marketing continues to develop and evolve with changing technologies and marketplace. I have over 25 years experience in marketing and strategic planning, primarily in healthcare (including long-term care, health insurance, children’s hospital, and integrated hospital system). I am from Virginia Beach and graduated from Virginia Tech. I enjoy being outside either running, gardening, camping, sunbathing or riding bikes.

In 2004, I joined the marketing team and focused on sales and marketing initiatives at Optima Health, the insurance arm of Sentara. I enjoy community service and beach time with family and friends.

I was born in North Carolina and attended High Point University. I have lived in Virginia Beach for 15 years and have two sons. I enjoy baseball, reading, movies, music and Words with Friends.
